Threshers.

We drove straight from vacation to the Threshers.
It was hot (as always) & we were ready for some tractors & Stockade food.
Grandpa Wayne & cousin Gabe met us when we arrived
& we went straight to the Stockade first.
The boys LOVED, I mean LOVED walking through the Stockade.
We could have spent all day there watching people fire their big guns,
make rope, spin wool, sing songs, sell their goods & everything else.
I told them about how people used to actually do all the things they were looking at.
And they really could not believe all the animal skins & furs....the bears, rabbits, wolves, etc.

Sitting with grandpa eating elephant ears & homemade ice cream.
Like every year grandpa gave us a ride around the Threshers.
Watching the tractor pull. A highlight!
Adler got a chance to drive the cockshutt with grandpa.
Then Brock got a turn.
Vance enjoyed the shade in the trolley.
The boys loved the double Ford tractor.
Thanks grandpa for another year of fun at the Threshers!
