Our friends recently upgraded their swingset to a big ol Rainbow system.
but that was great for us because we got their old one!
Old to them, new to us.
We love it.
But first we had to try to level a part of our yard,
which took some bobcat work on behalf of grandpa
& we hauled in a big load of pea rock.
Here she is in all her glory!
It's close to the house and in the front yard versus the back yard
so they play on it all day long
(unlike our other swingset in the backyard).
And the pea rock has proven to be lots of fun for these boys
& their trucks, diggers, shovels, etc.
Every time we stop by grandma & grandpa's
the boys all go for a ranger ride.
Now that grandma bought herself a tractor & another ranger
they are really keeping themselves busy on the farm!
Vance loves riding the lawn mower with dad.
But I think his most favorite part of it is getting to wear ear protection!
Grandpa & grandma took their grandsons down the road in their new ranger
to the tractor pull.
The boys just loved it.
A 'puller' gave the boys a big tractor trophy too!
They were so happy.
And since we read the book Tractor Mac to the boys
they truly knew how special that was.

When there's no where to go & nothing else to do...
it's time to get out the sprinkler!
Time to put Vance's bonfire chair together for him too.
He loves that he has a chair just like the other boys.
Adler went on a end of the year field trip to Como Zoo for school
& Luke went on the bus with his as a chaperone.
It was such a nice day that I decided I would bring the other boys
& we would go too!
We bought each of them a wristband
& spent the day riding rides & having a wild time with school friends.
Brock was a pretty good sport doing all these rides with the big kids!
I would have puked.
(and Luke almost did!)
Their favorite ride...

Vance even got to go on one ride...the nice slow train.
Both boys went up the zipline too.
I could NOT believe it.
It was SO high & they didn't even think twice!
Adler even went by himself.
Brock had to ride with Kellie (Jack's mom) because he was too little
to go by himself.
She went on rides with him all day!
Once all the school kids had to go back to the bus we got to stay
so Kellie gave Luke her wristband & it was dad's turn to get sick!

We pretty much have our summer planned out.
If you'd take a look at our calendar it's full of fun things going on.
Every Tuesday a nearby town has kid day every Tuesday.
So that's where you'll always find us.
Every Thursday there is music in the park in Big Lake.
So that's where you'll also find us.
The music is awesome & the food is great.
Almost every night consists of a bath too.
Whether it's to get off sunscreen, bug repellent or sweat!
