Wisconsin Dells Wilderness Territory!

Just last week we loaded up the van & surprised the kids with a trip to the Dells.
We were not planning to go this year because it's pretty hard with Viv & Vance being young,
but we found such a good deal that we had to go!
The Olberding's came with us too, since we had a 4 bedroom presidential suite.
It was a great 4 days!!!

Joy braided Viv's hair like the rest of the girls & she was so happy!
On our way down the road.
Our big balcony.
Our family loved the wave pool,
especially since we could all be in the water together.
Viv & Vance even loved it!
The Herdina's just love The Dells.
Wilderness Territory, Wyndam Resorts.

Easter.

We went to the Becker Easter Egg Hunt this year.
It was really really nice.
We will definitely be back.
They used the Resurrection Eggs to tell the Easter story
& they sent us off into the woods to find eggs.
The weather was nice,
the kids got to play with their friends, & the candy was good!
We made Easter sugar cookies one morning.
The little ones just loved helping out.
We also dyed Easter eggs.
The kids had a lot of fun & made a good mess.
Easter morning they had to search for their baskets
& they ate most of the goodies inside before we took off for the Herdina's.
All the cousins have such a fun time together.
There was a lot of wrestling, egg hunt, basket hunt, & playing outside all day.
Happy Easter!

April.

I typically go to the community center to workout
& I've been telling Luke how hard the workouts are.
This particular night I had him do the same workout I did & the boys joined in.
It was tough!
This one decided to draw all over her body!
I recently became part of the Bunco Gals group.
Majority of us workout together on a daily basis.
It is so nice for all of us to get out of the house & have some fun.
We all giggled & ate & talked about Aldi & Commmunity Ed. & our kids!
Ya know...mom topics!
And we also all talked about how we're not going home until we know our kids are in bed! haha
I took the boys to the Science Museum on a Sunday morning.
And my gosh...the place was so busy.
I'm not doing that again for a long time,
but we did have fun for a few hours & it was fun to watch a show in the omni theater.
Working the simulated tug boat down the Mississippi.
Nothing has really changed since I went to the museum as a kid.
I remember loving the same exhibits the boys loved.
THE MUMMY!!!
Going to bed with Viv, well trying.
It only lasts about 10 minutes & poor Brock is sent back to his own bed.
She just goofs around & doesn't go to bed.
Viv & I taking a trip to Becker Furniture World.
She ran all over, I got to see the Magnolia Home collection & we shared a muffin.
Pretty fun little date while Vance was at school.
Adler started Tri-County Soccer.
He's really getting a workout in this year & he loves it.
Little Miss Hattie & Mr. Frankie came to play one morning.
We just love having them over.
So adorable!
Viv & Frank.
Oh gosh...I got a little baby fix with Hattie.
Viv getting her workout in while I'm getting my workout in.
Too funny.
Belle hanging out with her good friend Viv.
More soccer.
Peyton stopped by to play a bit.
The boys just loved it.
At the end of April all the kids & I got sick.
Very sick.
It was so bad.
We laid on the living room floor all day.
Vomiting, body aches, fevers, chills, and whatever else you could think of.
Luke didn't get any sickness & he left us all for dead at home!
I never want to relive these 5 very long days.
Vance decided to load up his 4-wheeler & get it tied down!
The things that kid thinks of.
Our Sunday School preschool class recited the Lord's Prayer in church.
Vance did a great job considering he said he was going to cover his eyes the whole time!

Good Cookie.

Every now & then Brock & Adler get an idea up their sleeve
& they run upstairs to tell me all about their next endeavor!
This particular week they developed a cookie business, called "good cookie".
They set their price & got right to work baking.
Their goal was to raise some money for upcoming garage sale season!
Smart kids if I say so myself!
Adler made the sign to attach to the cooler.
He wrote down 2 cookie recipes
& they both got to work making a bunch of cookies.
Vance also became a business partner at this point.
They needed him!
He scooped cookies & kep things rolling while the older two started making pot holders
to sell also.
This little one wanted to be part of it too.
Once they made a bunch of bags, they set off for the streets!
You can't beat a warm fresh cookie.
They were so excited to sell door to door.
Luke even took them down the street in the car
& they came back with over $20 in sales!
The only problem is they came back with no more cookies
& the next day grandma & grandpa & Aunt Erin were coming
to pick up their cookie orders.
They were going to be busy all night making more cookies & pot holders.
They learned some good lessons in all of it though.
It was great!

March.

It's March,
it's cold.
We do our best to stay busy until warmer weather arrives.

Viv loves when Brock rocks her to bed.
Brock loves it too!
Skiing at Powder Ridge with the boys.
Puzzle time!
Adler's 3rd grade class.
Brock reading to Viv.
Enjoying a little snack before swimming lessons.
Vance's swimming lessons.
We have a bunch of leapfrog pads & cartridges
so everyone was having fun with them.
Shooting practice.
Relaxing with my sweetie.
Reading time everyday.
These two watch an episode of Daniel Tiger & Sesame Street almost daily.
Vance at speech therapy with Viv helping out pronouncing words too!
