The boys and I were lucky enough to be able to
tag along with daddy
for a trip to Duluth.
Adler & Brock remember very well the last time they
saw the big ships come in & watching the lift bridge
& all the other things that we typically do when we're in Duluth.
And on this trip, we did just about the exact same things
& they loved it.
The drive to Duluth was great in the conversion van,
the views were great...
the Edgewater waterpark was a ton of fun
(especially since we could swim in the outdoor pool overlooking Superior),
we won BIG at the arcade
(hitting the 1000 ticket jackpot!),
(the big WIN!)

standing under the lift bridge was a hit,
checking out the museum,
having fun in the pool & hot tub at Canal Park Inn,
enjoying a little down time at night
after running around ALL day,
3 boys in 1 bed(!),
having fun running around on the hotel patio
while dad was at his conference,
climbing on the rocks on Superior shore,
getting up close to the lighthouse
(they were so excited that it was just like the one on Pete's Dragon!),
More lift bridge fun,
watching BIG ships come in,
and finally...standing under the bridge as it went up & down!
We stayed for 4 days & had a blast.
We had so much fun walking, shopping, eating, swimming
& eating some more (thanks to the big breakfast at Canal Park Inn).
