Vivienne's nursery

Vivienne Joy...
you're so darn cute
& sweet
& lovable.
All throughout the Fall you loved pulling yourself up & playing with your standing toys.
You started to stand up in your crib, which meant is was time to lower the mattress.
But before that happened,
I had to take a few pictures of your room
so I could always remember what it looked like!
You have a silk & velvet Pottery Barn crib set.
I love that it's off-white & so soft.
You love to snuggle up to the side of the bumper.
When you were born Grandma Yvonne gave you a lamb blankie
to snuggle up with, Harnack's gave you a bunny blankie with your name on it,
Camy & Ang gave you a pink bird blanket,
The Geers gifted you the purple crochet blanket,
& I made you a big horse blanket with silk edging.
(those baby blankets only last for a few months & then it becomes harder to swaddle
so I knew I had to make a blanket!).
We bought "The Best" rocker & ottoman before Adler was born
& we love it to this day.  It's so big & comfy!
A newborn picture of all 4 of our babies hang on the wall
& there is just enough room to fit a changing table.
It's a tiny room, full of love!
I'm just so thankful that the room has a large closet with built-in shelving.
Everything goes in the closet, including toys & books!
Football season for the boys means lots of playtime on the sidelines.
Viv absolutley, completely loved going to football 3 nights a week.
We brought a blanket & a basket of toys
& Vance & Viv played outside with beautiful weather every night.
She found the books in the boys' room.
I came in to find her reading & removing them all from their shelves!
