Every year our family attends the Auxiliary Santa event at the Friendly Buffalo.
We all love going.
We get to visit Santa & sometimes Mrs. Claus, the kids get a candy bag, they each get to pick a toy from the table, and we all get cookies & juice while listening to the Girl Scouts sing Christmas carols.
It's a great Christmas event!
The kids tumbled rocks (which takes 40 days) & they were so excited to see how they turned out.
Time to decorate the tree!
All the kids enjoy putting their ornaments on the tree.
We a frequent visitors to the local libraries in Big Lake, Monti, & Becker.
We never miss the Gingerbread House making event at Becker.
We've even decided over the years that the kids want to bring their own tub of icing!
By the end of the night most of the candy has been devoured.
The last couple years we've decorated our houses with the Horn's,
and that makes it even more fun!
Adler & Micah trying to get as much candy on their houses as possible!
The kids & I stopped by Five Guys to order a couple shakes.
They loved them & now ask to go back all the time.
Adler playing alto saxophone in 6th grade.
Brock had the chance to be part of the varsity boys basketball huddle & his team also got to
play a quick game during half time.
Brock loves basketball & we love watching him!
Vance played basketball Saturday mornings in the winter &
he was so proud to win a gatorade!
He loves basketball too, especially when dad is a coach.
Vivienne was an angel for the church Christmas Program.
Brock & Vance were shepards.
Belle loves when the kids play outside in the winter.
She chases the kids up & down the hill.
Christmas crafts at Monticello library.
Christmas is that special time of year for a lot of traditions
and watching the classic Christmas movies is one of them!
This night it was Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer.
Every Friday night Luke & I would take the boys to Powder Ridge for ski club.
They love it & so do we!
Grandpa & Grandma Johnson booked a room at the Holiday Inn
so we could celebrate Christmas there.
IT IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!
We are so grateful for the chance to celebrate Christmas in such a fun way.
The kids look forward to it all year.
We made a picture blanket for grandma.
Vance spent hours making Grandpa & Grandma a remake of their farm using perler beads.
He was so excited for them to see what he made.
Grandma gifted Viv some makeup & helped her get all dolled up.
We also had the big Johnson Christmas at the hotel while we stayed there for the weekend.
Grandma Elois brought tables & tables of 'stuff' for all of us to pick over.
We brought our laser X guns & all the guys had a good time running around the hotel! haha
Christmas Eve church service was a little different this year.
Brock wasn't feeling well so only the 3 of us could go.
After church we ordered pizza & got ready to open up gifts!
The kids are always SO impatient & excited (as they should be) to get handing out the gifts!
Each of the kids got a picture blanket too.
We got Brock a subscription to Kiwi Co. & he loved getting something in the mail every month.
His Christmas box was to build a ukulele.
When Brock finished making his they all decided to have a ukulele jam session!
