September always means a new time schedule for the family.
School starts, the weather is cooler, and bedtime is more strict.
Vance tends to go to bed a lot better if he can fall asleep in our bed.
So almost every night Luke moves him back to his bed
when we're ready to go to bed.

Grandpa & Grandma Johnson did a lot of earthwork on the farm this fall.
They wanted to make sure they prevented any further erosion of the land
into the lake.
And it sure was a lot of fun for the kids to watch.
Grandma with all the dogs!
Palmer Days Parade on Labor Day weekend.
Chillin at Adler's soccer game.
Vance got this puzzle from great grandma Elois
& just loves putting it together.
During rest time I often find Vance outside by himself
playing with Belle.
At the park with friends.
Viv loves biking on her big girl bike just like her brothers.
(Forget about the plastic tricycles!)
Enjoying the lake life.
Watching the tractors in the fields.
She's a blanket lover.
Along with stuffed animals & babies & whatever else she can get away with.

TCU travel Soccer with Adler.
After the soccer game in Otsego we stopped by the splash pad to cool off.
Every now and then Vance, Viv & I go out for a lunch date to Subway.
They think it's pretty neat. Me too!

Adler made the top 3 finishers!
Adrian, Adler, Troy.
Tug-o-war.
Our handsome 4th grader.
Adler with his class. Mrs. Peterzen.
Viv decided to take her nap in the window seat.
Both sides of grandparents came to cheer Adler on during a soccer game.
Spending the afternoon celebrating Brock turning 8!
He wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting
& crusted oreo topping.
So that's just what I made him.
Micheal Schultz's wedding at an old farm/barn.
It was gorgeous.
