We took a 2-day get away to Duluth in September
& we stayed at the new hotel Pier B on the harbor side.
It was absolutely amazing.
We have never left our kids to go do something by ourselves!
Kids are older & it's time to do some of these things.
We left early for Duluth & stopped by Spirit Mountain.
We took a ride on the Alpine Coaster
& thoroughly enjoyed it!
It was a free fall coaster ride on the way down
& a slow beautiful climb back up to the top.
When we arrived to Pier B we noticed the craft show was going on.
It was so fun having something to do right next to the hotel.
The weather was outstanding & the views unbelievable.
Not to mention a cold beer & no kids! haha
We did a lot of walking to Canal Park & around the area.
We ate at our favorite restaurant- Canal Park Brewery.
And took in all the gorgeous weather.
It was sunny, calm, and warm on Superior!
Because we were on the harbor side,
we got to see all the ships come in & pivot.
At night we got to see all the boat action on the water too.
In the outdoor hot tub watching the ships!
Pier B has complimentary bike rentals.
So every morning we checked out a couple bikes & rode up the shore.
Gooseberry Falls.
Love driving thru the rock on the scenic drive to Gooseberry.
What a great little get away.
