2017 Herdina Family Vacation.
We were so happy to be in the big cabin this year.
Everyone had room to play & cook & sleep!
Even though most of the time was spent outside.
Shane & Tracy vacationed in their camper (converted trailer),
Glad & Ed slept on the main floor room,
We took over the upstairs, along with Ryan & Lisa
& Nathan & Robyn came for a couple nights too.
We all look forward to vacationing on Lake Edward
& having fun together!
We kind of took over the beach area!

The kids loved playing on the lilypad.
And when nighttime comes around
it's always snacks, drinks, & cards!
The cabin had a very big screened in front porch that we took
full advantage of.

We left the kids for a couple hours with the older cousins
& us adults went out to eat at Ernie's.
It was so much fun!

This was Glad telling Eddie that she needed him to boost her up on the chair.
It was so darn funny!
They made it in the chair,
but I don't know if they'll make it out!
Enjoying a glimpse of life without the kids!
We just sat there & watched the lake traffic on Gull Lake.
Time for the annual bike ride on the Paul Bunyan Trail.
It's always an adventure.
We bike from Merrifield to Nisswa
& stop for ice cream before we bike back.
The weather was perfect & the drinks were flowin.

This will be our last year at Lake Edward Resort.
At the time we didn't know it,
but within the next month we purchased lake property on Lake Edward
just across from the resort!
Now we'll be on vacation every weekend up north!
