It's New Years & the Geers family came to spend the night.
We love every time they come to play.
Our godson Gavin had to open his Christmas gift from us
& the Brock gets to open his gift from them (his godparents).
Of course, there's always a little something for the others too.

The boys got candy sleds & thought they were just awesome!
Gavin opened his big toolbench & they all got right to work putting it together.

We had to do some sledding too.
This year our hill was very fast & icy,
which meant it was mandatory that the dads be outside with them!

p.s. I absolutely love my 'at home' snowpants. They're Luke's old ones so they're big & fluffy & go over my coat! What's not to love?

well, I landed up, Em landed down!
Once the kids were sleeping it was time for some Cards Against Humanity.
Just a terrible, hilarious, inappropriate game;
but perfect to play with close friends!
We played & laughed & played & drank & played & laughed some more.
HAHAHA.
