February.

It's still chilly.

By the time February rolls around 

we're getting a bit anxious to play outside in some warmer weather.

The next couple months are when I am forced to get creative 

to stay sain until more Spring like weather shows up.

We read lots of books...

go to activity night at church...

go skiing...

(grandma & grandpa Johnson watch the younger two so we can hit the slopes)

come up with all sorts of ideas outside...

(I can't say this was probably the safest thing...

but it kept them busy for a long time.)

wrestle & tackle dad in the evenings...

use their big pillows for napping, wrestling, snugglin...

play tipsy turvy with the little plastic chairs...

go to the MN zoo...

(thanks to Erin for giving us free tickets & grandma & grandpa for coming with us)

take hot baths before bed...

play downstairs...

visit friends...

color & write...

push each other around outside...

try out our new slacker line...

(it's awesome!)

go to swimming lessons...

have playdates...

dress up like a princess...

watch movies & stay up late(!!!)...

play with our sweet little Belle...

go to Becker Expo & get wild with inflatables...

climb the walls...

(acting like dad when he was little)

visit with family...

drive around in our big black beauty...

visit more family...

friends come over to play...

teach our puppy to walk & sit...

& go to Coborns...

to get a cookie from the bakery, 

a sucker from the checkout,

& a horse ride on our way out.

Ahhhh I'm tired after all that!

I told you we had a creative month of trying to stay busy.

I'm glad it's over....where is summer already?!!!
