Fall fun.

I always know when it's fire safety week at school,
because the boys come home acting like fire fighters
trying to rescue people from a burning building!

This bouncer, sleeper, seat, toy dangler, canopy, travel contraption

that I found at a garage sale many years back is one of those items

you just don't ever want to get rid of.

But Viv is too big for it now, so it was time for one last pic before I sell it!

& plunked down on her but with her knee bent & she BROKE her ankle.

She started crying & since I'm on high alert from her previous fracture

I knew right away something was wrong.

We got right in the van & headed over to see dad for an x-ray.

Still can't believe this happened.

We sure hope this is the last!

She didn't mind being in a cast again though.

That at least made it a little better for us,

but it was still bad.

It was race day at school.

Vance, Viv & I came to root Adler on.

Adler's just like his dad...he just had to be the first one to finish!

His best pal Micah tried so hard to keep up

& when he finished I heard him tell Adler he never wanted to do that again. haha funny.

I have a hunch that Adler loved showing off his sister to his classmates.

I nursed Viv til she was 10 1/2 months old & decided to start using up 

all the pumped milk in the freezer.

The boys had a full morning of playing army guys.

They only have about a 1000 of them!

And because I know the bonfire will last just long enough

to eat a few smores.

I was trying to put Viv down for a nap & I came out to find the living room
in a mess, well that's what I thought initially, until Vance told me
that he helped me fold the clothes.  Huh?  I had to look closer....
& sure enough he rolled the shirts & pants.
I almost died laughing inside, but I cried instead.
What a caring young man we're raising!

We're so thankful for our parents to lend us their truck & trailer & bobcat.

It makes this 'do it yourself' stuff so much easier!

Vance...I mean 'Bob the Builder' helped dad haul the pavers to the woods

until we had the time & weather needed to complete the job.
