Our church had the kids' Sunday School Christmas Program.
The boys have been practicing for a long time
& they were so excited to actually sing.
And for my kids...just the fact that they said they were going to sing
was a major step.
But Adler got sick & Brock did not represent as he stated!
No singing.
He knows the songs very well,
but he only stood there & smiled for a brief moment
& gave me the look of fear the rest of the time.
He told me later, "mom, I was scared."
Poor guy, maybe next year bud.
Something must have worn him out though
because I found him like this later that morning.
Olivia got a little Mr. Potato makeover with the boys.
The boys also had a few dance parties in their room.
They put in their kids cd's & dance around.
It's quite comical (& pretty sweet!).
This Christmas season one set of neighbors brought over a tin of goodies
& I almost ran over our other neighbor when I was backing out of our driveway
as she was trying to deliver new handmade stocking hats to all 3 boys!
How lucky we are to have nice people to live by.
The Schwan's man also graced us with his presence
so of course we had to buy the holiday tin!
The limited edition ice cream is absolutely wonderful.
A little pre-Christmas event also included this...(haha!)
Let me just give you the visual.
2 boys pooping with WAY too much toilet paper
leads to one MAJOR plugged toilet!
This was one for dad, NOT mom.
More dance parties!
Nuts, nuts, nuts
& grandpa & grandma Schultz's old nut crackers.
A baby falling asleep by the Christmas tree.
And the beautiful view of construction starting on our new living room addition.
Does not get much better than that.
Let Christmas begin!
