Expos.

What else would the Herdina's do on a Sunday,
but go to an expo event!
Luke actually had to work at the Big Lake Clinic booth
so he got off easy.
The boys and I took the stroller
& had a hay-day!
We stopped at almost every booth.
I asked questions,
took information,
the boys took the freebies
& we all ate free food....
(a couple times over)
heck it was an free afternoon
FULL of fun!

This picture of Adler proves it!

He was so excited to get his very own mini garbage bin.
Just like the big one we have at home.
He also signed up to win the mini garbage truck
that he thinks he's going to win!
They picked up a couple fly swatters,
candy, candy, candy,
stickers, beads, fire helmets
(see picture of Adler....he's wearing all the freebies!
that's my boy!)
& a belly full of expo food!
Boy we were shot when we got home.

Adler now thinks that the expo is called the 'candy place'.
He says that he loved it.
Just wait for all the summer parades this year! haha

Then I decided Olivia needed a bath and a good combing.
Well her eyebrows were so long she couldn't see
so I thought I'd give them a little trim.
Poor thing ended up with no eyebrows afterwards.
Luke & I laughed & laughed at her.
I felt bad and still feel bad.
Sorry Livy.
(this picture does not do it justice...she looks awful!)
p.s. she's getting her hair cut professionally tomorrow.

Something magical happened the other day.

We were putting toys away & found these...
Adler's old Thomas slippers that now fit Brock.
Adler was so happy that Brock now has his very own pair.

Same slippers,
same pants,
same shirt,
same weight(!)
almost twins. hahaha

A lot of people say, 'ohh look at your twins!'.
Then I let them know they're almost 2 years apart.

Yesterday Brock wanted to sit on his big boy booster.
So I also thought it was time to practice drinking from a cup.
He does it so well in the bathtub.
Not so well at the counter!
A full change of clothes shortly followed.
(there's that fly swatter from the expo that they
have not taken their little hands off of!)

Having fun on their boosters.
(Best booster seats ever-babysmart, cooshie boosters)

Cousin Gabe is spending the night tonight
& Ang came over to play with them.
They all love her!
They listen to her better than they listen to me.
I love her too!
Thanks Ang for playing so I can get things done,
especially chat with your mother & watch 600 lb. woman! haha
(if you want to see a 600 pounder with no clothes on, watch TLC.
WOW!
It gave us a good laugh anyway.)

They ended the night with a fort, john deere videos,
& a cup of marshmallows.

Night night.
