Brock has not been eating the best lately,
but we just attribute it to 3 big molar teeth
coming in at the same time.
Little did we know....
he will still eat whatever he can dip in
ranch or ketchup!
Ohhh no.
Here's Brockie with a big smile on his face
because he just ate all of his food
& dipped it all in ketchup!
(notice the ketchup glob on his chin!)
And Adler recently used his forehead
as a snow plow on our carpet!
Now he has a nice rug burn in the middle of his head.
Ohhh boy.
I recently watched 'extreme couponing' on TLC
(my favorite tv network!)
and these CRAZY people would buy
$650.00 of food before coupons
& after the coupons were scanned
they paid like $6.00.
I could NOT believe it.
Why haven't I done this before!
Luke laughed & I started to search for coupons.
Darnit, when the person on tv said they would NEVER pay
more than $1.00 for a box of cereal
I knew I had to start saving somewhere.
After searching several sites for a couple hours
& clipping coupons from the local papers we get in the mail for free
I realized by shopping on double coupon day
this Tuesday (I can't wait!)
I will be getting a lot of food for FREE!!!
10 pizzas, 4 gallons of juice, and more.
Then I realized I can get 4 boxes of Fiber One granola bars
& Nature Valley bars for $1.25 total for all 4!!!
(That's $0.30 per box. I'm used to paying $2.50 or more per box!)
You see why I'm so excited about this.
AHHHHHH
Welcome to my new addiction.
For those of you crazy enough to join this bandwagon, here's the basic things you need:
-a little time, especially until you get used to which coupon sites are the best.
-scissors for all the coupon cutting.
-a computer & printer to print, print, print all those coupons.I was giggling as they were flying out of the printer knowing how much I can save!
-phone to call local stores to ask which day is double coupon day & to discuss their policies on coupons, & to also call companies to ask for coupons if you can't find them on their site.
-coupon organizer, because this gets pretty nutty to keep track of.
Now talk about saving money and getting that debt
paid off!!!!
Thank you TLC for yet another wonderful show! (haha)
My husband probably wants to get rid of cable now! (j/k he's a cheapy too!)
What our Friday's look like...
A trip to the library for storytime
& numerous books & dvd's
that must be read as soon as we get home!
(Adler insisted that he get a book for a 2nd grade reading level!
He said he read it though! It was Buzz from Toy Story....his latest VHS craving!)

oh Rin--you kill me!! But we do need to talk about the coupon sites you like best!! POST THEM!!
