It's July & it's getting warm while we're building our lake home!
We spend any waking moment working on it,
with the exception of snack breaks & meals for the kids
& an occasional swim break.
Grandma Yvonne stopped by for a visit
& apparently needed a nap!

It's shingling time! We had a lull which helped us out a lot.
It was a hard job with the weather being SO hot & the tedious job
we had with the dormers & steep roof pitches.
Luke & I did a pretty good job making sure we got as much done as possible.
So on this particular day we had our septic system being installed
as we worked on the roof.

Vance felt his heart was acting goofy & said he had a hard time breathing
so he wore a monitor for a few days to make sure things were A-okay.

They had a undefeated season this year!
