We've been married for almost 15 years
& it was about time to get away
from our parenting & work roles
& have some fun & relaxation!
We booked an all-inclusive getaway to the
Dreams La Romana in the Dominican Republic.
Several couples went along for the fun too...

We spent the night before our flight crammed into a hotel room
by the airport since the weather was bad
& we definitely didn't want to miss our flight!
It was flu season so we decided to wear protective gear!
Who wants to be sick on vacation? NOT US!
Another passenger was not breathing well on the flight
so Luke had to help, leaving me with full leg room!

We found out from the 'Ohio group' that due to our
dancing, singing, drinking skills at the nightly resort performances
we were known to others at the resort as 'Minnesota'!
Every night we lived up to our reputation!
(The unlimited free drinks had a lot to do with it)
