December is a busy month.
It has so much fun packed into it.
From the nightly Christmas movies to gingerbread houses,
from church programs to traditions at home.
There is so much going on
& I just love it.
The kids making gingerbread houses at the library.

Watching Christmas movies in the basement.
We took the kids to the Christmas Stockade.
We always visit Santa & Mrs. Claus at the Friendly Buffalo hosted by the Auxiliary ladies.
It is such a great event.
The elves have candy bags for the kids,
then the kids pick a gift from the table
& we enjoy cookies & juice & carolers.
Viv absolutely loved Santa!
The kids picked their gifts & opened them up while we ate cookies.
Brock asked grandpa Wayne if he could borrow his trumpet
& practice playing it at home.
Grandpa was such a good trumpet player in high school
& can still play today!
It will be fun to see if one of the kids plays trumpet in the band.
More Christmas at the Stockade.
Vance & Viv watching their names being wood burned onto Santa's nice list!
Swinging outside the 'Gun shop'
Uncle Joe & Aunt Erin gave the kids a subscription to Highlights.
They just love it.
Playdate at Joy's.
This girl is so into books.
If anyone comes to visit she asks them to read her books.
And if I can't find Viv I know she's in her room pulling all her books off the shelf
& paging through them.
It's so cute!
Brock & Viv relaxing together.
Adler went to his first birthday party (Adrian's) with a few of his favorite friends.
They went to Airmax & ate pizza at the bowling alley.
He had such a fun night.
We went to my parents house & saw mom & dad decorating for Christmas!
I couldn't believe it.
Mom doesn't get too much into the whole decorating deal,
so I just had to get a picture to prove it!
All the boys decided to decorate the storage room for a cousin sleepover.
Lights, movie, snacks!
Vance apparently celebrated his half birthday at school.
He was pretty proud of the card he got from Mrs. Cinda.
Viv found her fantasy mobile while walking through Walmart.
I couldn't get her out of that thing.
Luke is getting our ice rink ready for the season.
This year we even started hauling down the snowblower!
Bedtime snack picnic style.
The boys read 'Week at Grandma's' & realized that they have never spent a week
at Grandma's! They had to call my mom right away & let her know
that they plan to do that sometime in the future.
Our little lambs getting ready for the church Sunday School Christmas recital.
Cousin Sawyer came to spend the night.
Adler & Brock were so excited when their tumbled rocks were finished.
They made a bunch of necklaces for Christmas gifts.
Santa Vance at preschool.
Getting geared up for some skiing at Powder Ridge.
Getting jacked up for the slopes!
Our backyard is the prime spot for some hill sledding.
Our ice rink was the location for some hockey with neighbors.
This girl...
The colder weather also means a lot of hot chocolate.
