Summer lovin.

Spending some time diving into our devotional books.
Swinging time!
Our family took a little vacation to Holiday Inn Baxter
during July 4th.
We kicked off our mini vacation with a trip to Nisswa
to shop a little & eat at Rafferty's pizza.
Vance strapped on his water wings & floated in the hot tub
& pool for most of the time!
And these two boys hit the lazy river & waterslides!
Then it was time to it up some Billy Bones go karts!
The older boys had a chance to drive their own go kart
& since they are used to driving the crazy carts at home,
these apparently drove a little slow for them.
They like speed!
Vance wanted a chance to drive his own go kart too,
but when it came time to drive Lightening McQueen, he froze!
He literally sat in the car like this & did not move.
So back out he came.
Poor guy...stage fright!
Grandpa Wayne with Gabe & Luke with Vance.
They were wild & crazy!
And it was fun.
During the 4th of July we drove to Lake Edward Resort
& spent the day with Shane & Tracy & the kids,
Daniel & Mary,
& my parents & Gabe.
There was sun, heat, food, drinks, & family.
Everything the 4th should be!
Little Vivie played so hard that she fell asleep as the boys were
playing with her on the bed.
It was so darn funny.
Our little sleeper.
At home getting some cuddling time in.
The boys & I went to the Monticello Downtown Block Party.
They took the infamous train ride on the Harold Express.
The boys at Grandpa & Grandma Herdina's during Danube Days.
They were walking to the park for games & prizes.
Spending the weekend with G & G Herdina & their cousins.
And Luke, Viv, Vance & I spent the weekend at Watercade Days in Litchfield.
Viv (6mths) & Aubrea (2.5 years)
Art in the Park 2015
Letting Grandpa Wayne know how she feels!
Enjoying the parade.
Vivie loves playing in her exersaucer outside so she can see her brothers play.
Gabe spent the day with us & we decided to visit a couple parks
to enjoy the warm weather.
All the boys hit up the merry-go-round
& by the time they finished the 2nd park,
I had my 2 older boys puking all over the van!!!!
We took a family trip to Como Zoo.
For our kids' age, Como is the perfect combination of animals & rides!
Everyone got an unlimited ride wristband
& after looking at the animals it was time to hit the rides for the afternoon.
Up close & personal with the polar bear!
Daredevils on the zipline.
She loves being carried forward so she can see everything.
This summer I had umbilical hernia surgery,
which meant I could not run for most of the summer.
Instead, the kids & I would take walks around our neighborhood.
My little man trying to be just like his favorite person...dad!
The boys spent many days setting up their "shop"
in the yard toward the end of our driveway.
They would sit out there with a few things to sell for hours!
Then they would come inside & tell me that no one has stopped yet.
(Keep in mind we live at the end of a cul de sac!)
But it was so sweet when the neighbor friends would come over
& sit with them at their shop.
Having fun with our neighbors.
A boy & his dog.
Vivie learning to sit up a bit.
Playing with daddy at lunchtime.
