Herdina Christmas

This Christmas was a little different...
poor Grandma Glad had just been diagnosed with the flu
& Grandpa Eddie was not allowed to join in the fun either,
since he was exposed to Glad!
We could not really re-schedule Christmas so we all went to Ryan & Lisa's farm
& had Christmas without grandma & grandpa.
Ohhh we all felt so bad,
but we did have fun!
We packed up the Rip Rider 360's that the boys got for Christmas
& they got to use them in the big shed.
We didn't hear from the kids all afternoon because they were all playing in the shed.
It was spectacular!  We decided we might just have to have Christmas there again. haha
Making loom band bracelets.
Conner showing up the assault rifle he built himself!
I'm still in shock looking at that thing.
The kids played lots of bingo.
The boys got a Lionel train from grandma & grandpa
& they couldn't wait to put it together at home.
It whistles & puffs smoke & is just amazing!
Now we can have a train under our Christmas tree every year,
which is what I always wanted.
The Saturday after Christmas we celebrated at my parents house.
I got a manicure & pedicure that morning knowing it would be my last chance
to do something for myself before the baby came
& when I got back home we opened gifts, ate a good meal & played some games
before heading back home.

A week later we were getting ready to have a baby.
The night before we were headed to the hospital we made cupcakes
to celebrate the birth of the baby.
The boys did a good job making sure they licked every surface of the cake batter bowl!
