We just got back from the Herdina family vacation.
We start out the week by leaving early in the morning
& going to Nisswa crazy days before we can check-in to our cabin.
When we finally got everything unpacked we headed for the beach...
and kind of took over!
Vance loved jet-ski rides with dad.
The cousins all played so nice & Sadie was our built in babysitter for Vance!
Every night when the younger kids went to bed it was time for cards, drinks, & more food.
Fishin in the dark.
Every morning we would wake up & watch some cartoons before
we went & woke up grandma & grandpa to join us for breakfast.
The boys learned how to play UNO & they played morning til night,
even on the beach!
Evening pontoon rides & some fishing.
We had such nice weather!
Adler caught a northern & was so excited!
The poor kid felt like he cranked in a shark...it was great.
Then Brock caught the biggest sunny I'd ever seen.
Uncle Shane sure did a great job helping everyone & taking fish off the hooks non-stop.
Fishing with grandpa.
This little guy loved wearing his lifejacket!
More UNO on the porch.
Grandma & grandpa came to visit us every morning in our cabin
until the other troops came down from the camper.
The boys just loved it.
I found Vance snoozin on our bed (almost falling off).
He sure played hard & slept hard.
I checked on him a little later & found him like this! haha
G & G Herdina enjoying some time alone watching their grandkids tubing.
This is how Adler spent most of his week...on the outside part of the tube with Sam.
Those two couldn't get enough of it!
Vance was a little dickens on vacation & we were so happy when he'd
go with grandma & grandpa on the dock or in their cabin.
More tubing.
Grandma read Berenstein Bears to the kids every night before bed.
Having fun on the playground.
Relaxing on the beach with some morgan!
Here's proof that Tracy actually got in the water!
When we finally got home & picked up Olivia she sat by the boys
so they could give her welcome home hugs & kisses.
The Herdina vacation was wonderful at Lake Edward Resort.
We can't wait til next year to get back into cabin #5!
