More warm days are headed our way
& we can't wait.
The last time it was above 0 we decided
it would be best for our mental health
(or should I say my health!)
to play outside a little.
The boys could probably care less,
but I'm turning crazy being inside
so much!
The boys ask if they can mow the driveway almost every day.
We can't wait for spring......PLEASE COME SOON!
Brock is headed back in the garage to pull out
10 more toys!
Ohhh well.
Then there was this day.
well now I should say this day
has turned into several days
of 'fixing' the front door.
Luke & I have been talking about how
terrible our front door is.
The seal is so bad that ice forms around the door
& it gets froze shut.
Needless to say we can't wait to find the
perfect craftsman style door
(but you know I have to find a good deal, so it must wait).
Adler must have caught on to what we
were talking about because he got his tools out
the other morning
and just started scraping the ice on the bottom of the door.
Brock also had to help 'fix' the door too.
They have been sitting by the door
several times a day, for several days.
Who needs toys when you have a leaky door?!
Isn't this just lovely.
My lover dancing with Livy before heading back to work
for the afternoon.
He does provide us some good entertainment!
Thanks honey!
Tonight the boys ate their supper good.
So they got to choose their Schwan's favorite.
Ice cream sandwichs, popsicles, or push-ups?
They shared one of each!
(Dad was the one who gave in to this idea.)
So he told them they had to share.
They were so excited to be getting more 'treats'
that they actually listened.
Adler licked,
then Brock licked,
and so on!
Then when Adler wasn't looking
Brock licked some more!
Little stinker (as we call him!).
More like little piggy.
Then Adler ended the night by reading to his brother.
Boy they were sure being sweet tonight.
I wonder what they're up to!?
They read their favorites....
Pat the bunny
&
Goodnight moon
Brock really enjoyed Adler's animation!
He of course does not know how to read,
but he sure could repeat the whole story
as if he did.
That's so funny how they can memorize so much.
Adler now has me read a book once through
and then he says he's going to read it
and he tries to repeat what I read.
It's so funny.
I can't wait until he can truely read to all of us.
